Thanks to Stalker, we have an AWESOME, easily read-able Washita map!! Please note the intersection numbers. There will be intersection signs posted even when we don't have a trail sign up yet. This will give you the "you are here 6 flags" map experience. Intersections will be red with yellow numbering.
We will have these to hand out Saturday along with rules printed on the back but if you want to print your own/bring it, that's fine, too.
Difficulty levels are: yellow-easy, blue moderate and red difficult on the map. The trail levels are varying at Washita as you can imagine. Also, Locked and Loaded has an EXTREME section on it so enter at your own risk.
The trail signs with trail names are the color-rated signs. The In memory and intersection signs are just painted to be noticable. There is no correlation between paint color and difficulty on these signs. Otherwise, everything would be difficult since they are painted red.

To be totally geeky, although the overwatch is what everyone calls Bald Knob, technically it's not Bald Knob. The true Bald Knob is actually just the highest point of that hill which is in the middle of the woods with no view. The overwatch, which is the rocky outcropping overlooking the office and the valley below, is at the 'End' bubble and you can see the true Bald Knob indicated on the topo map on the left side.

But to answer the question you were intending, yes, the overwatch is what everyone calls Bald Knob.

Boyer, I've got your directions even marked by intersection number. Aaron posted directions to get the map. here it is:
Aaron Hull If you have a smart phone and would like a GPS map of the park, install the Everytrail Pro app for iPhone and Android. There is a free version and a paid version. The paid version is $3.99 and lets you download the maps to your phone so when you lose cell coverage it still works off the GPS Satellite signals.
To find the Washita maps, open the app, don't tap "Search nearby" because it's probably not nearby. Instead press your phone menu button and the magnifying glass to open the serach box It should look like the picture. Leave the "Search near" box empty. Change the "Within" miles to the whole world. Type Washita in the "Search for" box. It should be about the 6th thing down.
This is not our app and it works for other places like SMORR, the trails in Moab, and many trails in Colorado
