Thinking about coming out for this, both Saturday and Sunday, but I've never done a trail cleaning. What should I bring, or do you just need the man power?

Hi Cujo! Sorry for the delay in answering you, I missed your question.

For the clean up, you will want to bring loppers and a string trimmer if you have one. If you don't have the tools, shout out, many times people can bring extra if they know someone is in need.

Also, I need to solicit some help for the intro class. Brad (Heisman) volunteered to head up the classroom portion. We still need some folks to cook up some bison dogs and brauts. Also, some volunteers to help our new folks navigate the trails. I'm always amazed at how well our class does, but everyone needs a spot every now and then. Let me know if you are available and willing to work.

No problem on the delay. We're still a couple weeks out. If that's all I need, I should have everything. So count me in. Plus I got a buddy who's going to come down with me.

This could be a good time for you difficult people to see about making a trail that you want to run. Come on out Saturday.

Very true Moke. Since the logging, Lazy Lizard looked to have some great obstacles and a possible trail that had been previously unable to be seen. Maybe the logging might turn out to be a good thing. Many other spots that used to be obstructed are now visible.

I'll be there (Sunday) with my sister & will be happy to spot folks. I think spotting is fun and would be doing that anyway if the chance pops up. I've been down there twice but I don't think I know the trails well enough to lead a group. Loppers will be in the Jeep too just in case.

Just FYI, the trails are on the phone app EverytrailPro which may help. It's under Sayersbrook Bison Ranch

Although many of them are 'mocked in' so they may not be exact. But if people can get gps tracks of the Bison Ranch trails I'll update the Everytrail Maps with the actual GPS data.
