Local Area Jeep Clubs Lost 2 Great Jeepers Tuesday, July 27

7/30/2004 - Early Wednesday a.m. posts started popping up on the MRJT, MWJT, and SIJA bulletin boards that the police had visited the home of Allen "Invisible" and Sue Huntington. Allen and Susan were known to be vacationing in the Ouray, Colorado area and a mangled Jeep had been found at the bottom of Black Bear Pass. Before long we got the tragic news that we had been fearing.

Allen aka Invisible and Susan were dead.

No one will ever know what happened in those final minutes. It doesn't really matter now. What happened seems so unbelievable and so tragic. What we do know is that these were two great people that should have been in the world with us longer. May they rest now in peace.

Come out Friday, July 30, 7:00 PM to the Bevo Mill to memorialize the lives of two of our own that have gone on to highest mountains.
